Ann Buster, nee Outman, was born in St. Francois county, Missouri, December 1, 1845. In 1872 she married Benjamin F. Buster and 7 children blessed their union; six of whom are left to mourn the loss of their mother. One child and the mother haveing preceded them to the home beyond. In 1883 Sister Buster was converted and lived a consistent christian life until December 29, 1899, when she died the triumphant death of a christian. A short time before she died she called her children around her bed and gave them some parting words of advice and counsel, requesting them and the friends present to live so as to meet her in heaven. Her trouble and suffering were great yet her rest is sweet, for "Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord; yes, saith the spirit, they shall rest from their labors."--Rev. 15:13. We laid the body to rest in the cemetery near her home Sunday, December 31st, there to await the consummation of time.

Midnight Mine Road rollover claims life of Aspen resident

A 37-year-old Aspen man was killed in a one-vehicle accident early Tuesday morning on Midnight Mine Road on the back side of Aspen Mountain.

According to a report by the Colorado State Patrol, Robert Emig lost control of his vehicle shortly after midnight Tuesday morning. The vehicle was discovered by a passer-by at 9 am that day.

The report stated that Emig was westbound when he went off the south side of the road. The 1984 Chevrolet Blazer he was driving rolled several times, coming to rest in a stream.

Emig was ejected from the vehicle, according to the report. His body was found on the north side of the stream. Mountain Rescue and sheriff's personnel recovered his body at about 12:30 pm.

Coroner Don Davis said Emig had been arrested previously for driving under the influence of alcohol and was driving under license denial at the time of the accident. Davis said he did detect the smell of alcohol, but toxicology tests have not been concluded to determine whether he had been drinking and whether he was legally under the influence of alcohol at the time of his death.
